Please join us for a hands-on cooking class in celebration of Wine Country Table, the new book* by beloved California wine country author Janet Fletcher.
Janet’s book is filled with stories and images of California farms and wineries focused on sustainability. She will share tales of her writing process and time spent with these producers, while leading the class in cooking several of the book’s 50 original recipes. It’s a menu just perfect for Spring.
You and your classmates will sit down to enjoy the dishes you’ve created together, paired with wines chosen for the occasion with care, along with non-alcoholic beverages.

If your cancellation occurs within 72 hours before a class begins we are not be able to issue you a credit as we will have already purchased ingredients for that class. About the teacher

Janet Fletcher

Janet Fletcher is a food writer, publisher of the weekly Planet Cheese blog and the cheese columnist for Specialty Food and The SOMM Journal. She has authored or co-authored 30 books on food and beverage, including Yogurt, Cheese & Wine and Fresh from the Farmers’ Market. Janet’s journalism for the San Francisco Chronicle has earned three James Beard Awards and the IACP’s Bert Greene Award. Her food writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Saveur, Bon Appetit, Fine Cooking, Culture and Food & Wine.
Janet teaches cooking and cheese-appreciation classes around the country. In her writing and teaching, Janet spotlights the farms, products and artisans of Northern California’s vibrant food and wine community. She cooks, gardens and writes from Napa Valley.
