So You Want to Write a Cookbook?

Sun | Jun 26, 2022 | 10A–1P PT

Teacher Dianne Jacob

Cookbooks can be big sellers. Publishers still push out hundreds each year, with widely ranging subject matter and innovative, eye-catching designs. Whether you’re a food lover who likes to write, a food blogger hankering for a book deal, or a writer passionate about cooking, creating a cookbook can be satisfying and fun. It is also a challenging endeavor for which many authors are unprepared.
In this online, interactive workshop, cookbook writing coach and co-author Dianne Jacob will teach you how to establish a sellable idea, what goes into writing a proposal for agents and editors, and how to write and test a recipe that works. She’ll also cover some basics of self publishing.
